HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?

Online
You can pre-register to become a Bankstown Sports member online. Visit BankstownSports.com/joinnow and fill out your details. Next time you are at Bankstown Sports or one of our associated venues you can select the duration and type of your membership, have a photo taken, receive a printed personalised membership card, process your payment and you will be a Bankstown Sports member.

In Venue
Whilst you are in venue, all you need to do is fill out a membership application form and hand it to our friendly staff who will process it on the spot.

Please ensure you have a valid form of identification and you are over 18 years old when applying for membership at Bankstown Sports or our associated venues.


WHAT ARE THE PRICES TO BECOME A MEMBER?

Standard Membership - you will receive communication from us via your selected channels.

  • 1 year membership $12
  • 3 year membership $30
  • 5 year membership $40
  • 1 year pension/senior membership $10
  • 3 year pension/senior membership $24
  • 5 year pension/senior membership $30

Digital Membership - you will receive communication from us electronically only.

  • 1 year membership $9
  • 3 year membership $25
  • 5 year membership $30
  • 1 year pension/senior membership $7
  • 3 year pension/senior membership $19
  • 5 year pension/senior membership $20

Membership year runs 12 months from join date.

DO I NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO COME INTO BANKSTOWN SPORTS?

No - if you live outside the 5km radius you can sign in as a visitor.

If you live within the 5km radius, you must either be a member of Bankstown Sports Club or be ‘signed in’ by another member as their guest.

Alternatively, we recommend becoming a member, so you are able to enjoy all of our member benefits!

*PLEASE NOTE – you are not required to sign in if you are attending a function in our Events Centre. BUT - if you intend to use our facilities before or after this function, then you will need to sign in.
If you are over the age of 18 years old, the standard membership policy applies.

IF I AM A MEMBER OF BANKSTOWN SPORTS DOES THAT AUTOMATICALLY MAKE ME A MEMBER OF BAULKHAM HILLS SPORTS CLUB, BIRRONG SPORTS CLUB, THE ACRES CLUB AND BANKSTOWN SPORTS BOWLS CLUB AND AUBURN TENNIS CLUB?

Yes!

All five locations are associated venues, which means if you are a member of one, you are a member of all!

WHAT IS THE 5KM RADIUS AND HOW DO I KNOW IF I LIVE INSIDE IT?

Bankstown Sports is a Registered Club and as such operates under the Registered Clubs Act. Part of this Act requires all patrons who reside within a designated 5km radius of Bankstown Sports, to become members if they wish to use club facilities. Please see the map here. 

I LIVE INSIDE THE 5 KM AREA. DO I NEED TO BECOME A MEMBER?

Yes. Everyone over the age of 18 years living within the 5 km radius is required to become a member to enter the club.

There are several exceptions:
1. You are a full member of another club that is registered under the Registered Clubs Act. 

2. You are a guest of a Bankstown Sports full member and have been signed in by that member. 
3. You are attending a function at Bankstown Sports Events Centre and do not intend to use other club facilities outside of the event. 
4. You’re a registered guest of Travelodge Hotel Bankstown.

I'M A MEMBER OF ANOTHER CLUB, BUT LIVE WITHIN THE 5KM RADIUS. DO I NEED TO BECOME A MEMBER OF BANKSTOWN SPORTS?

If you are a full member of any other club which is registered under the Registered Clubs Act and you live within the 5km radius, you're able to access Bankstown Sports without becoming a member.

However, we recommend that you join to receive our full member benefits!

I'VE LOST MY CARD. CAN I GET ANOTHER ONE?

Yes. If you have misplaced your membership card or your card is damaged, you are able to apply for a replacement from the main reception at Bankstown Sports.

*PLEASE NOTE - if you repeatedly misplace your card, you may incur a small charge for future replacements.

WHAT ARE THE TIERS OF MEMBERSHIP?

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond

HOW DO I PROGRESS THROUGH THE TIERS?

Our membership tiers are based on our More Rewards Loyalty Program, and each level is dependent on a member’s spend inside our clubs. When you become a member of Bankstown Sports or our associated venues, you automatically become a Bronze member. To earn more Rewards and progress through tiers, please ensure that you hand your membership card to staff for every purchase at Bankstown Sports or our associated venues. As your points increase, you will progress through the tier levels and receive more rewards.

HOW DO I FIND OUT MY TIER?

You can find out your tier 3 ways:

  1. Online Member Portal - https://www.bankstownsports.com/member
  2. Swipe your membership card on the screens on the walkways on the gaming floor at Bankstown Sports
  3. Ask staff at any point of sale or Reception in venue

WHEN DOES MY TIER GET REVIEWED?

Members are automatically upgraded based on their spend. Downgrades occur twice a year. For each tier, there is a certain number of points required to maintain a tier level, if these balances aren’t met you will be downgraded in April or October. If you are being downgraded you will receive a letter or email to notify you.

HOW DO I EARN REWARD POINTS?

You earn Reward Points by making purchases in the club. Every dollar you spend you receive a point. When you make a transaction, please ensure you hand your membership card to staff and you will automatically receive points. Reward Points cannot be earned at San Churro Bankstown or Travelodge Hotel Bankstown.


WHERE CAN REWARD POINTS BE REDEEMED?

Reward Points can be redeemed inside Bankstown Sports or our associated venues. They can be used at restaurants, bars, reception and other outlets inside Bankstown Sports including Monkey Mania, Turbo Climb, Club Carwash and Travelodge Hotel Bankstown.

HOW DO I REDEEM MY REWARD POINTS?

Please present your membership card to our friendly staff when making a purchase and let them know that you wish to use your Reward Points.

WHEN DO MY REWARD POINTS EXPIRE?

Reward Points expire on 30 June every year. Platinum and Diamond Reward Points don’t expire.

TELL ME ABOUT BIRTHDAY REWARDS

Birthday Rewards are awarded on the 1st of the month of your birthday month. They are valid for 2 months. You have to be a current member before the 1st of your birthday month to receive your Birthday Rewards. Your membership tier will determine the value of Birthday Rewards you will receive.

TELL ME ABOUT NEW YEAR REWARDS

New Year Rewards are awarded on the first business day after 1st January. They expire on the last day of February. You have to be a current member before midnight 31 December to receive New Year Rewards. Your membership tier will determine the value of New Year Rewards you will receive.

IS THE BANKSTOWN SPORTS MEMBERSHIP YEAR BASED ON CALENDAR-YEAR
OR FINANCIAL-YEAR?

Bankstown Sports membership is based on calendar year. Meaning the month you joined as a member will be when you will need to renew in future.

TELL ME ABOUT THE ONLINE MEMBER PORTAL

The Online Member Portal is for the use of Bankstown Sports and our associated venues members only. The Member Portal allows you to update communication preferences and personal details, check your tier and point balances and renew your membership online when it’s due.

I'VE JUST JOINED BANKSTOWN SPORTS CLUB. WHEN CAN I RECEIVE MY BIRTHDAY POINTS?

To receive birthday points, members are required to be a financial member by 11.59pm on the last day of the month prior to the members’ birthday month to receive their Birthday Rewards.

I'M NOT RECEIVING MY 'INTOUCH' MAGAZINE. WHAT CAN I DO?

If you are not receiving your quarterly issue of our InTouch magazine and you would like to, please contact Bankstown Sports via our online enquiry form to confirm your details.

I DO NOT WISH TO RECEIVE 'INTOUCH' MAGAZINE, WHAT CAN I DO?

Please visit our Online Member Portal to update your communication preferences.

CAN I BRING MY KIDS TO THE CLUB?

Of course! Bankstown Sports is a family club and children are welcome in most areas. Anyone under the age of 18 is not required to sign into the registry. However, they must be supervised by a responsible adult AT ALL TIMES.

*PLEASE NOTE - persons under the age of 18 years are not allowed to approach any bar and are not permitted in the Basement Brewhouse, Sports Lounge, Outdoor Terrace area or gaming floor.

Children are also not permitted in the Rainforest Lounge after 8.30pm.

Children are not permitted in the club after 10.30pm unless they are attending a function or dining at one of our restaurants.



WHO CAN RIDE ON THE COURTESY BUS?

All members who are travelling within the 5km radius of the club are able to ride on the courtesy bus.

Guests of the club are also allowed to travel if they are accompanied by a Bankstown Sports Club member.

I LIVE OUTSIDE THE 5KM RADIUS. WILL THE COURTESY BUS DROP ME HOME?

To ensure the courtesy bus runs as close as possible to the proposed timetable, it will only be able to drop off and pick up passengers within the 5km zone.

WHERE DO THE PROFITS MADE BY BANKSTOWN SPORTS GO?

Bankstown Sports is a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation. The by-laws for all registered clubs do not permit operating for private gain.

Under this unique community-owned model, any surpluses after operating costs must be put back into the communities we serve, or into the provision of facilities or services for our members.

I WOULD LIKE TO WORK AT BANKSTOWN SPORTS. WHERE CAN I FIND MORE INFORMATION?

DO I NEED TO BECOME A MEMBER TO USE THE BANKSTOWN SPORTS CARWASH?

The ‘Club Carwash’ at Bankstown Sports is one of our many great services and facilities, and it is available to anyone.

Members and guests can simply leave their vehicle with our friendly staff on the GREEN level of the carpark, and enjoy the club’s facilities while their car is carefully washed and detailed.

DO I NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO PARK IN THE CLUB CAR PARK?

No - anyone who is visiting Bankstown Sports, Travelodge Hotel Bankstown and Flinders Centrecan use the carpark. 

* PLEASE NOTE - you are required to validate your parking ticket at club reception in order to access free parking.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING?

No, parking is free if you are using the club facilities, staying at Travelodge Hotel Bankstown or visiting Flinders Centre and you validate your carpark ticket. Anyone entering the carpark must take a ticket and use it to exit the carpark upon leaving the club. If tickets aren't validated, a fee will be charged. It is recommended that you keep your carpark ticket with you at all times.


DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO VALIDATE MY TICKET?

Yes, every time you visit Bankstown Sports you need to validate your ticket at reception or one of the other validation points. Please speak to our staff to validate your carpark ticket.  

WHAT IF I TAKE A TAXI OR BUS HOME FROM THE CLUB AND LEAVE MY CAR IN THE CAR PARK?

You will simply need to validate your carpark ticket. It will be made valid for a 24hr period so if you remove your car within that time, there will be no charge. Carpark rules apply.

WHO SHOULD I CONTACT IF I AM INTERESTED IN PERFORMING AT THE CLUB OR WANT TO SUGGEST A SHOW BOOKING?

HOW DO I FIND OUT ABOUT TRAVELODGE PACKAGES?

Travelodge packages are offered for selected live shows within the club, giving patrons the option of an overnight stay at our onsite hotel.

CAN I COME TO BANKSTOWN SPORTS IF I AM UNDER 18?

Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

A ‘responsible adult’ – in relation to a minor – is either:

  1. A parent, step-parent or guardian of the minor
  2. The minor’s spouse or de facto partner
  3. Is temporarily acting as the parent of the minor

DO YOU SERVE HALAL FOOD?

Restaurants within Bankstown Sports are not halal-certified.

However, we do have several halal options available, whereby the meat in certain dishes can be prepared in accordance with the relevant requirements on request.

All meals with the halal preparation option are marked with ‘H’ on our menus.
